Oh Creosote! This was a long journey for a gal in Kansas to figure out. After sending many testers, all of my responses were thumbs up for this blend. It's a dry version of the fragrant bush found in the desert.

Tested at 5.00%. Batter went to a medium thick trace instantly after adding in fragrance, but loosened enough to pour when stirred. Discolored to a light caramel color, great scent retention in cured bars.

These are incredible scents! Being an Arizona native, this scent is like nothing else. We live for it here! Gives me all the monsoon feels! The dry scent is so spot on by itself but I’ve added a cpl other elements to really bring out that wet dirt/soil/airy and mild floral scent. While the wet creosote has a more peppery, wet soil mixed with damp air smell with less floral. I am mind blown really! I will absolutely be ordering more!
After seeing all the other comments about it being very faithful to the desert rain smell that creosote has, I'm a little disappointed. I live in the Chihuahuan desert region, and I can sense a hint of desert rain, but I wouldn't say that this is it. It has some fruitiness and extra green-ness that doesn't go away even after sitting for a while.
I'll give this to a coworker who likes the smell.

I make Caramel Apple Wax Melts every Fall and they are always a huge hit. That being said, I've tried just about every Caramel Apple fragrance oil I've come across. All of them have smelled very synthetic and unnatural. However, when I smelled this one, my mouth instantly watered. It's the absolute truest fragrance oil I've ever smelled. I have it sitting on my kitchen counter just so I can take a quick sniff every time I walk by 😅😂 I'm eager for the Fall, so I have a reason to put this in wax.

This is THE one scent that started my love affair with ALL the forest scents offered by Little Bee. It's spot on and is such a great blender! Fraser Fir quickly became a staple for blending. I love to blend it with Frosted Spruce (2nd fave!), Peppered Pinecone, Life's A Bowl of Cranberries (yes!), and a couple of others to create my best selling and personal favorite fragrance for candles and wax melts. LBS has the best in all of the forest scents! I love Little Bee Scents!
