No perfume notes, just a wonderful true to life lily flower aroma complete with green leaves. This fragrance worked well in wax (paraffin and coconut) and was a best seller in my hand cream and lotion. It also worked in my cp soap, though it did accelerate some, still manageable and I was able to pour a three color swirl soap. Fragrance strength in soap at .8oz/lb was medium and it did last for at least a year in soap. Special note about hand cream/lotion, in my formula I found that the scent out of the hand cream jar ( I guess you could call it a cold throw) caused the green leaves note to most prominent, but once applied to the skin and allowing a 15-30 second dry down the fragrance blossomed into the most beautiful lily flower scent. I explained that to the customer causing them to try it and see for themselves and it sold like hot cakes. I think this fragrance would appeal to those that usually don't like floral fragrances but like the true smell of flowers like me:)
Five stars!
Really nice bright, green and floral fragrance in cp soap ( think fresh cut lily ). Like soap notes said, did have slight acceleration within first couple of minutes after hand stirring fo into batter. Very manageable with additional stirring, so workable for layers or easier designs. I would use caution making in a loaf or slab mold and watch temps. True to floral fragrances, this one heats up. I use goat milk as partial h20 replacement and cpop. Using with individual cavity molds, I had alien brain start about 1 hour after pour even with water discount. So definitely watch your temps, soap cooler and probably no cpop or insulating needed. Otherwise scent retention is really nice at 4% and minor discoloration didn't affect my design.
This scent is a smooth tropical floral that is strong without being overpowering. When I first sniffed it within the bottle I was a little worried that it might be a bit too strong, however, I moved forward with my normal testing of 8% FO in paraffin wax and I was amazed! The scent had transformed from something way too strong to the perfect mix of tropical florals and just a tiny hint of musk that fills up a room. I have received many compliments from people who otherwise do not like floral scents.
Okay, honestly... I HATE floral fragrances. As a chronic migraine and allergy sufferer, I think of floral and go "OH GODS NO!!!!!! IMMA DIE!" ---- hear me out. This scent is actually beautiful. It is TERRIFYINGLY STRONG OOB (and in wax), and I was SURE I was going to get that instant migraine starting in my temple and spreading behind my eyes as SOON as I poured it, but....nope!
This scent is actually very beautiful. REALLY good HT in cocosoy. Tropical vibes. Reminds me of living in South FL with all of the tropical foliage or wandering through the "rainforest" greenhouses at our local zoo. =) If you really are looking for a floral to add to your line and you're afraid, this is a good one to try... I am still iffy on florals overall, but this one I think I will be keeping. <3 If you LOVE FLORALS AND HAVE A GOLDEN NOSE then you definitely will enjoy it even more!
Used at 5% in cold process soap and scent is STRONG! No ricing, separation, or acceleration. Behaved perfectly in a two color ITP swirl and had plenty of time to work. Recipe used was lard, coconut, olive, hemp, and shea. Could have used a lower percentage of fragrance for sure!
