An old fashioned vintage Rose fragrance that is romantic and nostalgic at the same time, like an English garden. A great one to blend as well....
Top Notes: Green Leaves, Powder
Middle Notes: Fresh Cut Rose
Bottom Notes: Sandalwood, Musk
Flash Point: 201F
I like how the Victorian Rose fragrance smells like a fresh cut rose from the garden. The smell is not overwhelming and has a luxurious scent to it.
I asked to be surprised for my sniffers. Opened this and thought……Not bad! And I generally hate floral scents. My usual reaction is . Smells like real heirloom roses rather than that horrible flake rose floral scent. Thinking it might fit well in my NeoVictorian Futuristic Time Travel (Steampunk) line.
Really a rose scent...reminds me of the roses that my grandma used to grow..
This fragrance is so authentic. It’s a clean rose fragrance, no powdery notes, nothing else to interfere. Sometimes, you just need straight up rose. Brava Marsha!! You are amazing! Much love to LBS!
I'm a soap maker so my review is based on this purpose. The moment this fragrance oil hit my soap batter, it immediately started to thicken. I had to plop it into my individual soap mold and it was a hot mess. Perhaps if it was a loaf mold I would hav ebeen able to bang it in better... Would not repurchase this particular oil but it does smell like rose as the name says. Would likely make a great blender fo to add some umph but again, not for soap making...
