OOB this will smack you in the face, but in wax it’s a lovely smokey scent. Depending on your ratio and what you mix it with, it can range from campfire to hellfire.

Hot throw magic

OOB and dried down on blotter paper, it's nice; it's pleasantly complex, with a little cedar and some soft musk, but none of the smoke I was hoping for.
I got a hint of that "wood cracking on the fire, smoke in the air" aroma when I was adding this oil into hot soy wax for a tester candle and wax melt, and figured that was probably it.
But here we are, 2 weeks later and the tester candle is burning (a soy wax blend with a 7% fragrance load, cotton wick), and now I understand. I'm smelling that cracking wood on the fire, smoke hanging in the air, and the musk is still there, but now lingering as a soft finishing note that takes the edge off the smoke and aged, cut firewood taking center stage once the melt pool gets going.
Works great as a wax melt too, but I personally prefer it in a candle. That might just be for the visual appeal of having an actual flame to accompany the fragrance, though.
And always, always appreciate having my bottles individually bagged when getting multiples in one order! Thank you

Omgoodness! I love the smokiness! I can almost smell the beef jerky haha, this is perfect for my homestead line!

Pleasantly icky. I can't wait to experiment, but I still have to occasionally open and sniff. It is that smoky acrid rare scent that I can't resist.

Smells like a fireplace

My brother wanted a candle that smelled like a fireplace. I read the reviews on this one and decided to BFF I’ve it a try. They weren’t wrong! It smells like a fireplace! A nice, cozy scent!
