We named this candle “Poe’s Potion” for a fun, Halloween riff on Edgar Allan Poe. The scent throw during the pouring was so amazing I had to insist my husband come smell it. The cherry really works!! We cannot wait to get it cured and on the menu for Halloween; we know it will be a delight to all who partake in this potent, potion. 🍄🍒🪦

I'm thinking of calling it ""fun-guy" at Christmas". Like the cousin who arrives half baked talking about the 'srooms he foraged. And of course he brought Queen Anne's for the gift exchange. 😂
I had no problem with my CP soap. If you want something a little different, I highly recommend!

Weird AF in the best possible way.
This is a fizzy fragrance that has an effervescent quality that tickles your nose a little. It smells a little like damp potting soil, a little like Dr. Pepper, a little like jarred cherries, a little like a mossy forest floor -- all at once. I can't describe it, it's good, even if the description and scent notes don't really feel like it should. It just works. Not only does it work, it's weirdly addictive and you want to keep sniffing it to sort out why it makes your brain happy.

Very unique, earthy, complex. Its so interesting - I really love it.

This fragrance surprised me... I didn't expect to fall in love with it as much as I did! I mean, I wouldn't really want my body products to smell like mushrooms, right? Wrong! This fragrance is earthy, slightly effervescent with the evergreen notes, and the cherry is, well, the cherry on top! It brightens the blend in a way that you just can't get enough of it. I can't quite put my finger on it, and that keeps drawing me in to smell it over and over. Best of all? It behaved phenomenally well in cold process soap! Slowed down trace, kept my batter extra fluid and smooth and hasn't discolored any yet (2 weeks in)! The cherry note is a bit more muted in the final soap than out of the bottle, but boy is this one addictive and mysterious, and very well rounded. Highly recommend!
