I make custom candles for a local bookstore. They requested a dark and mysterious scent for Valentines, but also stated they weren’t fans of florals. I sent them multiple scent descriptions without the names, and this is the one they chose. I’m so glad I went straight for the 16 oz bottle they love it, and so do I! The rose is there, but not perfume like. The oud is a wonderful surprise. Definitely dark and mysterious.
This is the best black rose and oud scent on the market! I've made soap and am going to make candles with it. It is wonderful for Valentine's Day but i will also use it year round.
Used at maximium amount in cp soap and it is STRONG and complex! Will decrease amount to 3% for the next batch. Unsure about acceleration or discoloration due to using a high butter content recipe and mica’s colorants. Definitely recommend!

Black Rose & Oud is in my top favorite LBS. She’s the dark & moody fragrance lovers version of “refreshing”. Very complex and rich, not overpowering, just right. I’ve tested in candles and perfume. Great performance in both. The perfume is gorgeous.
